Meet the 165th
Recently redistricted in 2022, the 165th now includes all of Media, Morton, and Swarthmore boroughs; Springfield and Upper Providence townships; and part of Marple township. The House District is home to more than 60,000 residents of Delaware County, PA. The history of the 165th is rich and extends back to the time when our Founding Fathers first settled in Pennsylvania. Springfield, Marple, and Upper Providence Townships trace their origins back to the 1680s when early settlers received land grants from William Penn. Today, the district is home to bustling neighborhoods, thriving business districts, and strong school communities.
